Every year in early November, as part of Operation Christmas Child, we send shoe boxes full of presents to children in third-world countries. Thanks to your generosity, we have been able to send hundreds of these boxes each year. To fill them, our Threads of Love group works all year long, making dresses, shorts, backpacks, and toys. It is a beautiful and powerful thing to see; all those items, representing hours of and hours of work and dedication, suddenly revealed. We have a packing party for Operation Christmas Child here at the church on Saturday, October 28th at 1:00 p.m.

Giving gifts to needy children is a holy act. On Sunday 10/22, we will invite everyone to lay hands on the gifts and to consecrate them. We will pray that the children who receive them will know the grace of God and the love of His people. Come and join us in worship! Invite a friend too.
