Together We Stand
God didn’t create us to go it alone. Together we can learn, encourage, and help each other. So, whether you’re just curious about Christ, or have been walking with Him for a while now, you’ll find places where you can feel at home. Pick a study group just your size, and try opportunities to serve in your community and beyond. It feels good to stretch those “love muscles”!

Young Family Group
This group meets every second Saturday for dinner, games and prayer time together. If you’re entrusted with the significant task of raising a family and would like to be part of a community that gives encouragement and support (and fun), we would love for you to join us at 5:30 in the church’s fellowship hall. This is for the whole family and childcare is provided.

Threads of Love
Creates items from fabric to bring comfort to babies, children and youth. Come join us in creating quilts, receiving blankets and burp cloths to be donated to St. Als and St. Lukes. Members also sew doll blankets, dresses and different size drawstring bags for the Operation Shoebox packing party at the church in November. There is a large stash of donated fabric to choose from. The group meets the second Tuesday of each month from 10:00 to 11:30 in room 201 at the church.
Wrapped in Prayer
Hand make items from yarn to bring comfort to those who are hurting and remind them of God’s grace and love. Members knit and crochet shawls, lap robes, scarves, and small pocket prayers that are available for the congregation to give away. Our group also makes hats, booties and tiny blankets for premature babies at the local hospitals. We have several bins full of donated yarn to choose from. The group meets every Wednesday from 10:00 to 11:30 in room 201.
Additional Activities
Need a fun activity or some adult conversation? Try one of our monthly events which include bowling, snow-tubing, Super Bowl parties, picnicking and rafting. Check our Upcoming Events or contact the church office for more information!
Being a Christian is more than just an instantaneous conversion – it is a daily process whereby you grow to be more and more like Christ.
Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.
God cannot give us a happiness and peace apart from Himself, because it is not there. There is no such thing.
… neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Helping The Community
Prayer Teams: Join us in prayer with our Prayer Team or Prayer Chain.
Church Tasks: Many hands make light work, and there are many tasks required to keep the church running and serving others including helping with worship services, building maintenance, and teaching classes. Opportunities exist for every skill level and age!
River of Life Mission Dinner: You can help provide a monthly dinner for Boise’s River of Life Mission as a server, or by donating baked goods or funds on the third Thursday each month.
Eagle Food Bank: Help support the Eagle Food Bank by bringing in nonperishable items throughout the month for local families in need. Add your items to the collection box by our north entrance anytime during the month.
Red Cross Blood Drive: Sign up for one of our quarterly blood drives. One donation can help more than one patient!
Helping Beyond
Free Wheelchair Mission: You can help provide wheelchairs to people in developing nations through The Free Wheelchair Mission. The gift of mobility is empowering for someone already suffering with the pain, inconvenience and exclusion caused by a physical disability.
Compassion International: Each year we provide the opportunity for members of our congregation to sponsor a child in a third world country, helping them with food, education and medical care through Compassion International. You can also provide clean water through their Water of Life program.
Operation Christmas Child: Join us as we collect all year for our Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes! The boxes are filled each November and shipped to third world countries for children ages 2-12.
